I am so glad I found this book, it literally saved my grade! This semester I thought it would be fun to take a Hebrew class, however, it was more difficult than I originally thought. Being a literally touchstone, this flash card set features 101 nouns starting with simple words and gradually moving to more complicated terms. Perhaps the best part of the set is the amount of knowledge are you are able to study at one given moment. For each word you are able to see not only the English translation, but the Hebrew term followed by the word in the Hebrew alphabet. If needed a transliteration is provided for your convenience. Not only this, an audio recording is provided allowing you to hear and practice each word. Ultimately you are able to study visually, verbally, and audibly in one sitting. This book is perfect for beginners and those taking classes. It is fun and easy to use! Another good book to purchase if you need help is "Learn to Read Hebrew in 90 Minutes." I consulate it everytime I have a question. On my way to a "A." 5/5 stars!
I didn't stop to check, I learn O T Hebrew, this is modern, words like ball and boat, not much use.
I have not had the time to focus on this purchase, however, I wasn't pleased with the fact that it was Volume 2 I ordered when I thought that I was starting at the beginning. When time allows I will investigate why I ended up with Volume 2 instead of Vol.1. sms

101 Essential Hebrew Flash Cards With Audio (Volume 2)I'm an American. The Hebrew font is something I'm not used to. I'd have given it five stars, but why is it that all Israeli authors think American Jews understand the, to our eyes, strange looking fonts. I'm glad that it at least has vowel marks, but What is a straight up and down stroke supposed to be? After looking at a few examples, I figured out what the marks were, but it's an entirely different font than what this 72 year-young Jewish woman is used to seeing. I'll get over it and it might be good if I was going to go to Israel someday but there is no way I'll ever be able to afford the trip, thanks to the 2008 economic collapse. My life's savings went down the tubes along with other millions of others, but, damn it, why are those people who stole our money too big to jail?
have asked for money back as it could not be read on .. would suggest that it be modified to suit
